- Preheat oven to 180°C (thermostat 6). Grease and flour a 20x10cm loaf pan, or line with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, whisk eggs, granulated sugar, and vanilla sugar until light and fluffy. The volume should double.
- Add yogurts and cooled melted butter to the egg mixture. Mix gently until combined.
- In a separate bowl, sift together flour and baking powder. Gradually add to the wet ingredients, mixing gently from bottom to top until smooth.
- Pour batter into prepared pan and bake for 35-40 minutes. Check for doneness with a knife inserted into the center.
- Let cool completely in the pan before unmolding and transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
- Serve warm or cold.
Notes
Substitute plain yogurt with sheep's milk yogurt for a stronger flavor. Add fresh berries or chocolate chips for extra indulgence. A bit of lemon zest adds a refreshing note.
