- Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F). Lightly grease a baking sheet or line with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, combine oats, flour, baking soda, salt, and sugar.
- Add vegetable oil and vanilla extract. Mix well until combined.
- Gradually add milk until you have a smooth batter. Be careful not to add too much.
- Add chocolate chips and raisins (if using) and mix gently.
- Using a tablespoon, drop portions of batter onto prepared baking sheet, leaving some space between each cookie.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown and slightly firm. Baking times may vary depending on ovens.
- Let cool on baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring cookies to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
Let your creativity run wild! You can replace chocolate chips with nuts, almonds, or other dried fruits. For an original touch, add a pinch of cinnamon or nutmeg to the dough.
